Meet Ben

Ben Lee was working in Singapore's CBD in 2009 when he couldn't find a good sandwich during work breaks. Instead of complaining, he transformed a quaint space on Telok Ayer Street into one of the neighborhood's most popular cafes within months, laying the foundation for what Sarnies has become today. Ben's belief in building a great team, prioritizing quality and health for our customers, and learning everything from scratch has been crucial to our growth.

Meet Eric

Eric Chan joined Sarnies in 2012, starting from roles like barista and bartender and immersing himself in the art of coffee-roasting. A quick learner, he rose through the ranks to become a co-founder with Ben.Originally from Malaysia, Eric moved to Bangkok in 2017 for a restaurant consultancy project. Soon, he and his partners saw an opportunity in Bangkok's cafe and brunch scene. This led to the opening of our flagship store on Charoen Krung in 2019, and later, creative concepts such as Sarnies Roastery, Sarnies Sukhumvit cafe, Pimp My Salad, F*nkytown bar, and our home-cafe experience online store.
